IT and AI consulting
Before you spend money on software or AI, we work out what’s worth it for you.
I advise individuals, small businesses and mid-sized companies on AI, software and digitalisation. You get a clear recommendation and decide for yourself what gets built.
What I advise on.
This is where we decide, plan and train. The building comes afterwards, and I can take that on too if you like.
Getting started with AI and AI strategy
We want to use AI but don’t know where to start.
- Opportunity analysis: which of your tasks are worth automating or handing to AI, weighing effort against benefit
- Ranking use cases by benefit and writing a roadmap
- Estimating realistic costs: licences, computing power and integration with your existing software
- Choosing privacy-friendly AI: servers in the EU, local models, a data processing agreement
For example with models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Mistral, or locally with Ollama if you prefer.
Also for individuals Which AI tool is good for what, and how to set it up safely.
Build AI agents and automationAI training and AI policy at work
Everyone is already using AI, each in their own way.
- Half-day AI workshop for your team, with examples from your daily work
- Role-based training, for example for office staff, sales or management
- Rules for using AI at work: which tools, which data, who signs off
- Documenting the training, as Article 4 of the EU AI Act suggests
- One-to-one training with AI tools, at your own pace
For example with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot or Mistral.
Also for individuals One-to-one training in using AI for writing, research and everyday tasks.
Software selection and digital audit
A lot still runs on paper, spreadsheets and shouting across the office.
- Mapping your processes: how things are done and where time gets lost
- Gap analysis: where you are now, where you want to be, with priorities and costs
- Choosing and introducing a CRM that fits the way you work
- Comparing software for ERP, online shops, accounting or appointment booking
- Writing the requirements specification for a software or website project
For example with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Odoo, Shopify, WooCommerce or DATEV.
Have your own CRM builtSecond opinion and project support
I have an expensive quote on the table and want a second opinion.
- Reviewing quotes from agencies or software companies: scope, price and risks
- An on-call technical contact on a monthly basis, for questions and decisions
- Supporting the rollout: managing vendors, sign-off and onboarding
- Assessing the feasibility and cost of an app or game idea
Also for individuals A second opinion on a quote or on your app idea.
E-invoicing and accessibility
E-invoicing is coming, and our software can’t do it yet.
- E-invoicing in Germany: a roadmap for receiving e-invoices (required since 2025) and sending them (from 2027 or 2028, depending on turnover), with the right software
- Accessibility: a technical check of your website or shop that shows what’s missing
- Planning the work: what you do yourself, what I take on and what it costs

Questions people often ask
What does consulting cost?
The intro call is free and takes 30 minutes. The opportunity analysis costs €580 including VAT (€487.39 net), by video call or at your place in Bonn. On site outside Bonn, travel costs are added, for example €120 for up to 50 km. For training, software selection and everything else, you get a written quote beforehand.
Do I have to train my team in AI?
Businesses that use AI have to take steps to make sure their staff know how to use it properly. That’s what Article 4 of the EU AI Act says. You don’t need a certificate. A training session with examples from your daily work, properly documented, is a good start.
Can I get funding for this?
Sometimes. Funding programmes change often, and some run out quickly. In the intro call, I’ll tell you whether there’s anything suitable right now.
Do you also advise on legal and tax matters?
No. I advise on technology, processes and software. Privacy policies, contracts and tax questions are a job for lawyers and tax advisers. If a legal question comes up, I bring in a specialist.
Do I have to hire you to build it afterwards?
No. The result is yours, and you decide who implements it. If you like, I’ll take it on.
Do you also advise individuals?
Yes. For example on which AI tool is worth it for you, whether a quote is fair or whether your app idea is feasible. The prices on this page are what you pay, VAT included.
